Manual Refractometer – Measuring Range: 0–10%

When using mixed anti-corrosion compounds, it is essential to continuously monitor the concentration in deionised water. Both insufficient and excessive concentrations can lead to unwanted effects:

Insufficient concentration

• The protective effect is reduced or short-lived

• Components may begin to rust quickly

Excessive concentration

• Reduced cutting performance

• Increased consumption of resin and filters

• Machine components may develop a slightly sticky surface

• Automatic threading may become unreliable

Operation

The device is simple to use. Place one or two drops of deionised water on the measuring surface, and read the concentration directly from the scale.

In addition to anti-corrosion solutions, the refractometer can also be used to measure other aqueous solutions, such as:

• Grinding and cooling emulsions

• Salt solutions

• Sugar solutions

• Antifreeze mixtures
