AquaTec 1550 is an EP cooling lubricant that can be mixed with water. It contains mineral oil (42% approx), is free of amines, boric acid, chlorine, heavy metals and it can be used for all metal cutting of steel, cast-iron, copper alloys and aluminium.
AquaTec 1550 produces remarkably little foam, so there will be no problems with foam, even if very soft mixing water is used. There is no resinification of dried residues of the emulsion and thus it is easily re-emulsifiable.
When mixed with water, a finely dispersed, whitish cooling lubricant emulsion of high stability is produced, which combines a strong cooling effect with a good lubricating effect and increased pressure absorption.
AquaTec 1550 is free of biocides and because of specially selected raw materials is extremely resistant against micro-organisms and allows for a long emulsion service life.
AquaTec 1550 has a pleasant odour and is proven to be dermatologically safe.
AquaTec 1550 contains anion active and nonionogenic emulsifying agents, EP additives and anti-corrosion-agents.
